Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is an injectable solution containing growth factors derived from the patient’s own platelets, crucial for promoting hair-tissue regeneration (HTR). Patients generally undergo 3 to 6 treatments spaced approximately one month apart, depending on the type and severity of hair loss. It’s important to note that visible results from PRF treatment may take time due to the natural hair growth cycle, with noticeable improvements in hair regeneration expected around 6 to 12 months after the final treatment.

What is PRF?

What can I expect during PRF injections?

Then, your skin is cleansed with an antibacterial agent and a numbing agent is applied, if needed, to minimize discomfort.

Once your skin is properly prepared, your clinician applies the PRF to your face and then uses the Sylfirm X tool to inject the healing properties into your skin. After your Sylfirm X treatment, your clinician may apply a soothing cream and sunblock.

You may experience some redness after your treatment, but you should be able to resume most of your usual activities within a day after your session. While results vary, you should start to notice an improvement in your skin soon after treatment.
